Characterization technology

overview

A material that deforms when an external force is applied and returns to its original shape when the force is removed is called an elastic body.
The relationship between this applied force and the amount of deflection is called "spring characteristics", and the coefficient that expresses the magnitude is called the spring constant (k).
The relationship between the applied force (F), the amount of deflection (x), and the spring constant (k) is generally called Hooke's law, and is expressed by the formula "F = kx".

  • * Hooke's Law (Law of Elasticity): The law that the elongation of a spring and the load below the elastic limit are directly proportional

There are two types of spring characteristics required for anti-vibration rubber: static spring characteristics and dynamic spring characteristics.

Static spring characterization Relationship between applied force and deflection amount when force is applied slowly to rubber
Dynamic spring characterization Relationship between applied force and deflection amount when force is applied to rubber at a certain speed

Owned equipment

Static characteristic tester

Static characteristic tester

This is a testing machine that measures and graphs static characteristics such as compression characteristics, tensile characteristics, and hysteresis characteristics. A load-deflection curve is graphed.

Number of cars owned

  • Maximum load 0.5t: 1 unit
  • Maximum load 2t: 2 units
  • Maximum load 5t: 2 units
  • Maximum load 10t: 2 units

Dynamic property tester

Dynamic property tester

This test system measures the dynamic spring constant and damping characteristics of anti-vibration rubber. Performs dynamic characteristic measurement over a wide frequency range from low to high frequencies. This makes it possible to evaluate the anti-vibration performance up to the high frequency range, which leads to noise countermeasures.

Number of cars owned

  • Maximum excitation frequency 200Hz: 1 unit
  • Maximum excitation frequency 300Hz: 1 unit
  • Maximum excitation frequency 1 kHz: 2 units

Electrodynamic shaker

Electrodynamic shaker

It is possible to evaluate vibration transmissibility, natural frequency, vibration mode analysis, etc. in the high frequency range of anti-vibration rubber.

  • Vertical maximum excitation frequency 5kHz
  • Horizontal direction maximum excitation frequency 2kHz
